Marco Antonio Sotelo Monge holds a PhD in Computer Science from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2018), where he has worked as a researcher at the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering. He is currently a research lecturer at University of Lima (Peru), and his main areas of interest include 5G networks, Information Security, SDN/NFV, and Artificial Intelligence. The outcomes of his research activity have been disseminated in specialized scientific journals and international conferences, both also supported by him as a reviewer, editor or conference organizer. Over the past few years, he has participated in the European research projects SELFNET (H2020-ICT-2014-2/671672) and RAMSES (H2020-FCT-04-2015/700326) funded by the Horizon 2020 Programme of the European Commission. In addition, he contributed in the publication of the first White Paper entitled “5G PPP Phase 1 Security Landscape” released by the 5P PPP Security Working Group in June 2017. Marco Antonio holds also professional experience in the areas of Information Technology and Quality Assurance in Education, activities that have combined with teaching since 2007 in Peru, and in Spain since 2016. An excellence scholarship awarded by the Peruvian Ministry of Education in 2013 enabled him to conduct international postgraduate studies in Spain, where he developed his research career afterwards.
